LAURA ALLEN

Something of a perambulist and addicted to fancy cheeses, Laura is a writer and director, equally drawn to books, movies, and starlight.

Most of her recent work is narrative and short -- somewhat similar to herself. Her latest short film "Little Disappointment" is currently enjoying a  festival run in NYC. Laura's films may range in content and length, but all are primarily concerned with a compassionate and curious view of the human condition.  

Laura also shoots and edits event videography and habitually works on film projects which raise awareness for schools, charities, and nonprofits, all endeavors she is passionate about.

When she is not writing or working, Laura can often be found wandering in her car, chasing errant sunbeams. Or shadows. Let's not forget the beauty in shadows.
